Sunday Week 4!!!

No that is not our child sleeping on Matt. We seem to have become one big 8 person family with the Sloneker's. This is Jeyda who is in between our girls age wise - she is darling!
We are all going to miss zooming around in the golf cart... Both of the girls love riding with Daddy and driving! Kate will lean clear across the cart to grab the wheel and take her turn.

A few pics from Top of the Leaf last week. We have one more week to try and get a good family pic. Hasn't happened yet, but maybe this week.

Kate is still continuing to enjoy food to the fullest and is now showing up on other people's blogs with her messy face.

Okay so a few quick updates....
Kate took her first steps last Wednesday and has continued to take a few every day. She is getting a little more brave each time and it will be fun for people to see her when we get home.
Macy is doing okay with potty training - we are hitting about 1 out of 4 for poops in the potty. But she does pretty well with peeing. It's a process.
Matt may be having his most challenging week as a head leader. We have another large Capernaum group this week so I am excited to watch them. And there are also some other challenging situations with leaders and kids - we'll see how it goes!
I am making my list of things I want to get done before we leave. I can't believe we are already in our last week here. I am definitely going to miss the laid back routine mixed with a schedule and being able to walk in and have my meal served to me. Although I am ready to have different food. (Speaking of which, after being inspired by my friend Adrienne - who is doing a great job losing her baby weight - I am seriously thinking about doing weight watchers and finding some classes at the Y - anyone want to join me?)
We made a jaunt to Grass Valley last Thursday and tried to take Macy to Ratatouille. It was nice to leave camp, but Macy was a pill and it wasn't the best experience ever. I don't know that we will leave again before we head out on Saturday morning and go to Sacramento and then onto San Francisco. We booked our Alcatraz tickets today - Matt is excited about it and we hear Fisherman's Wharf and the area is a lot of fun - so we will be there next Monday.
Okay I think there are other things I keep thinking I should post, but I am ready to head to bed tonight so maybe tomorrow!

  3. WW works. I've lost 5 lbs in 4 weeks...(1 of the weeks we were on vacation and I added instead of took away weight). We're hoping to visit you all someday when you're back home. I've loved the pics throughout your experience at camp. I can't believe it is almost over. I was just starting to think of a care package. :(

  4. I may do WW with you for these last 10. I seem to be stuck lately. This is so a situation where I can say, "I if can do it so can you!" Have a great time on your family vacation.
