Yes our month here is nuts. So far I have done 3 of the 4 craft shows I am exhibiting at this month. The YL round up is tomorrow - matt is at the office and it is 11 pm on a saturday night. This is the earliest I have been in bed for several nights. We are just trying to survive October.
Points of Interest on our month:
* the girls were the Wichita Eagle last Monday for being runners up in a costume contest I entered them in. The front page and in the Wichitalk section. I would post the link, but you can't see the picture so it's not that fun. I am supposed to be getting the picture file soon - I'll stick it on here when I do - it's pretty cute even if I do say so myself.
* my shows the last two weekends have gone really well. Today was pretty disappointing. I don't know if the nice weather today made people want to be outside or what, but they sure weren't shopping at the Market Square. It wasn't just me either, a few other people I talked to were disappointed too. Last year when we went it was packed with people so tight you couldn't even get to the booths - not so much this year. So not only did not only make near as much as I would have hoped to, I also had time to walk around and look at other booths so I ended up spending money on a couple of things! My next, and probably last show, is this next Thursday and Friday at Eastminster's Beneath the Wreath. Come check us out!
* Tomorrow night is the Round Up and I am really excited. It's amazing how much more fun it is to plan, go to, invite others to, etc... when you only have a banquet once every 3 years instead of every year. It's been fun to see where Matt's heart is at as he is praying for people there to hear about God's love for them - he said God has not even allowed him to pray for the finances! He just wants everyone there to know that God has a great love for high school students and for them! It really should be amazing.
* Hopefully next weekend we will make it to the pumpkin patch and to the park with some of our friends for matt (thiessen, not shepherd) to try out his new camera - it would be nice if the trees would turn colors for us a little! Maybe next weeks update will be a little more exciting!

Every 3 years is so much better! Did Matt come up with that? Wish I could come to your shows.
