Okay so I am the only mom in blogsphere that has not posted pics of her children in their halloween costumes. So here is one that matt thiessen took of all the kiddos at their house that night. The girls did look darling and if I can ever get my hands on the pro pic that the Wichita Eagle took I will put it up here.
the other pics are ones that matt took at the park on sunday - can you tell he has a sweet new camera and very willingly took pics of us (and some other friends) my matt is wondering why we are paying a professional for our christmas pictures.
a brief brief of our last two weeks or so:
* I finished all my shows - I am pleased with the results and I think I will have a better idea of what to expect next year. I may try to do a couple of things in the spring so if you hear of any let me know. I have a pile of orders and a goal to get them finished before thanksgiving so that I might have a chance to do some of my own sewing also! Also please pray for more orders to come in since that is how we are paying for christmas :)
* Last week matt discovered he had two dead teeth. It was not pretty. One trip to the E.R., two root canals, three trips to the dentist and lots of drugs later he is back to himself. Since I was enjoying take care of my sick husband so much, I decided both of my children should be sick too (please insert sarcastic voice when reading previous sentence.) Thankfully they had a virus that was relatively quick passing and only symptomized by lots of sneezing and snot and only one episode of throwing up. Of course they did not have it at the same time so macy got well about the time kate got sick.
* The girls did have a good Halloween as it was pretty much in between sick days. I apologize to the mothers of children that may have been infected by mine that night. They looked so cute in their princess costumes and I think they will be making some encore performances as there were a few friends who were not able to see them yet.
* Over the weekend the girls and I went to KidFest 2007 while Matt played paintball with yl kids. It was a lot of fun and something we would go back to. I will post pics next time I have a chance - highlights include meeting Dora, becoming a princess and endless jumping on inflatables.
there's lots more I'm sure, but maybe I can get back on the blog wagon and do another one before we head out of town this weekend...
why are you paying a professional? those pics are so great! can't wait to see you and the sweet girls soon!
ReplyDeleteHey I can tell in your face how much weight you have lost. How rewarding. I am cheering you on!! Macy and Kate look so differnt than each other now. That is really fun to see Kate growing into her own person. I can't wait to see it in real life.
