Thank you in advance for your prayers and love for her!

Really really quick update...

First of all let me just say - HOW 'BOUT THEM CATS!!!!

Okay with that out of the way, we are still here. I have been using every spare moment and about half of my sleeping moments (aka staying up until 2 every night) sewing trying to get ready for my shows this month. Here is a list if you are interested in stopping by:

St Elizabeth Ann Seaton Show (Cental & 199th West) Saturday, October 6th 9-4 $2 admission.

Central Christian (29th & Rock) Saturday, October 20th 9-4 $2 admission. (If you might come to this one, let me know I have a postcard I can send you with the info on it and the booth that has the most people turn them back in will get a free booth next year!)

Eastminster's Beneath The Wreath (Webb between 13th & 21st) Thursday & Friday, October 24th & 25th - not sure on the admission for this one.

I am getting really excited about the shows and hoping that all this work and missed sleep is worth it! My cousin Erin is also going to have her handmade purses at my booth so we would love to have people come by. My new addition for this year is that I am bringing my machine and will hopefully be able to embroider on the spot for the things that I have at my booth. We'll see how it goes!

The girls are good - they are doing great with Friday Friends and CBS and Hannah and and and.... we are definitely out and about a lot more this year. Macy is getting so smart. She can sing the K-State Fight Song and tell you the story of Noah and Ark. Kate is just funny. She will just sit in her carseat and laugh. I have no idea what is so funny, but she seems to be in a good mood most of the time. Maybe she is just enjoying a respite from teething for a couple of days?? Matt is good too. October is both of our busiest months probably so hopefully we can get in some good time together in the midst of the craziness. The Wichita Young Life Banquet is October 21st if you would like to come - just leave a comment and we will get you on the list.

I have been really proud of myself (and Cristy!) this last week. Last week we went to a Turbo Kick class, a pump class, and a Body Definition class. Body Definition doesn't sound to threatening but seriously it is the hardest thing ever. I am finally able to walk up the stairs without it killing my legs - 4 days later! And today I tried out yoga for the first time. Ginger from our small group teaches it and it was really good. I think I might be sore from it tomorrow - but I'm sure going to pump class again tomorrow will make it feel better ha!

Okay I need to run and get to sewing while the babies are sleeping!

  1. I tried yoga a few times last year, because I was having back problems. It's a lot harder than it looks. Those classes you took sound hard. I took a few kick boxing classes last year too, and I was so sore on the days after. I used to be so athletic and could work out for long periods. Now I'm just a wimp! Maybe you will inspire me. Even just walking on a treadmill three times a week would be good.

Maybe I can make one of your upcoming shows. I don't know if I will make it to this Saturday's one. It depends on if my movers arrive with my stuff. They still haven't called about when they're picking it up, so maybe they're not coming until Wednesday.

  2. Way to go girl!! Sounds like you are working your hiney off...literally:) I am so proud of you...as a former WW follower, and soon to be again after the baby arrives...it is hard work, but oh so worth it! How much have you lost?? Are you going to meetings or doing it online? I wish I could come to a show...but I guess I will just have to wait for the stuff on your website! Keep on losing...I bet you look fabulous!!
