TRANSPLANT! Mom has to be at the hospital by 6:00 a.m. to get the stem cells transplanted back in from last week's harvest.
Pic from Chemo on Tues. (I think Dad took this with his phone which is why it's a little funky with the lighting.) Note the cute hat courtesy of Cousin Erin and flower from my friend Kendra.
Prayer Requests:
* Pray that she would continue to do as wonderfully as she has been! The only thing she has even mentioned that could be a side effect is that she has been sleepy. I told her I was sleepy too (probably because I am up after midnight writing blog posts, growing a baby, and chasing small children all day instead of a major medical procedure!)
* Please continue to pray against infection/fever/viruses. Her white count will get lower next week the Dr. told her so she hasn't had to be in total isolation yet.
* Pray for the transplant to go great just like everything else has to this point!
Praises:
* She is really feeling good - great even! Dad said tonight that she is a star patient! I won't be so silly as to think that you all praying for her doesn't have a huge impact on that!
* Because she is feeling pretty good, I think she and Aunt Nancy are having lots of fun together. I know it is not very often - or ever - that they get to just spend quality time together so it's really special that they are able to be together without Mom feeling horrible.
* I think it's great that everything has stayed on the schedule that they gave us beforehand - yes, it's a selfish praise because I am praying that if all goes according to plan she will be there to welcome Baby Hope into the world in 4.5 weeks!
And to continue to fulfill my promise of cute kids pics....
Big girls on Easter. Lucy was not cooperative (a theme for her lately) but maybe I will put her dress on again soon and pretend it's Easter and take some more pics.
Macy's new do: Cut off her hair yesterday! Macy's response, "I look 7!"

Oh the girls ARE SO CUTE!!!!
ReplyDeletePraying for your mom!! So thankful for everything so far!
