It's Harvest Time!

Sorry for the lack of updates, but thankfully it's been uneventful the last few days.  Here's the quick rundown:

They have been tracking her white counts to see when to do the stem cell harvest.  On Thurs they were . (point) something - as in almost non-exsistent.  Fri 2.something. Sat 15.  Today 35 (I think!).  I'm not totally sure but I think the normal range is 5-10ish?  So hopefully all this means that tomorrow when they go in for the harvest that she has plenty and they get everything they need the first day.  If they don't get enough then they will have to harvest again on Tuesday.

Treatment:
Stem Cell Harvest!  Should take a few hours tomorrow.  She has to go in around 6 in the morning so probably by the time you read this she will be in process!

Prayers:
* That they would get all that they need so it would just take one day!
* That it is comfortable and she's not in any pain.
*  Please pray for all of us around her to stay healthy.  We have been battling a fever virus at our house for the last couple of weeks and we are ready to be done with it and stay healthy so that we can be with Mom!  Also pray for Dad and Aunt Nancy since they are the ones that will be at the house with her.

Praises:
* We got to have lunch today with her (and Dad, Tate and Katie)!  This was actually a really big deal because we didn't think we were going to get to see her all weekend.  When she saw the dr. on Friday, he told her that her getting a virus would be very bad for the process - well all of my girls have had a virus in the last couple of weeks.  He said we could be around her but we just can't touch her.  It was hard to explain to Macy (5) and Kate (3) that they couldn't touch Mimi.  But they did great and did a great job blowing her kisses.  Lucy (18mos.) obviously didn't understand the not touching so we just made sure she was distracted or there was someone in between her and Mimi to run interference!  This morning Macy asked me, "When do we get to touch Mimi again?"  It's hard for them not to love on her!  And vice-versa!  All that to say, I am thankful that we at least got to be with her, even with no hugs!
* She will get a week off from everything after the harvest is done!!  Yay!! We will get to hang out lots and even give hugs hopefully - as long as we stay well!

Thanks for the prayers!
Hopefully you had a Glorious Easter and were able to celebrate our Risen Lord (and the redemption and victory He brings over yucky stuff - like cancer - in our lives!)
