Labor Week

Matt and I were at Beaver Lake for the weekend with the YL leaders and we had an awesome time! The girls also had a great time with Grandma and Grandpa Shepherd. They celebrated kate's birthday on Sunday and kate received this book that she loves. It has her picture in it and sings a song when you open it. Actually both of the girls have wanted this book read to them every day. So today when I went to put Kate down for her nap, she was not quite ready to go to sleep so I put the book in with her. I could hear the song over and over in the monitor, but eventually it quit playing and when we went in to get her up so she could go to the football game with matt - this is what we found! (Also notice that her crib mattress is now in the absolute lowest position after she escaped from her crib this weekend for G & G)

Last Thursday I finally got around to kate's birthday party invites - since her birthday is this Friday! I took the pics Thursday morning and then put together a really cute photo card/invite on Shutterfly - which I picked up at a Target. very handy. and cheap. 25 birthday invites for $11. Now I just need to organize the party!
