Remember those bulbs from a post last fall?? They are starting to peek through the mulch - yeah! I will post a pic when there is some real color to look at. I have also officially started my spring cleaning, which will be long and drawn out thanks to the basement project (several rooms have one or more pieces of furniture or piles that will move downstairs so it just makes sense to wait until they have been moved to clean) so one room (upstairs bathroom) down - entire rest of the house to go!
Basement update - the sheetrock was sanded tonight so next on the list is getting 4 new windows and then finishing the sheetrock around them - after that it will be our turn to put our hands to work - painting!
Matt and I are off to the Eastminster marriage retreat this weekend in kc - I am so ready to get to spend some time with him! God bless my inlaws for driving through horrible weather to come down and stay with the girls!
