you may have heard rumors or caught wind of it, but I thought I would confirm it to the blog-world.... Baby Shepherd #3 is on the way. Fiercely on the way. I will have to post another time about all the exciting details, but for now the basics are this:

Then Emotion: Complete Shock & Disbelief
Now Emotion: Guarded Excitement & Anticipation

Arrival Anticipated: Sept 17 (ah the joy of being an induction queen)
Weeks to Date: 11
Morning Sickness: Horrid and Extensive
Tired-ness: Unparallelled (spelling challenge)
Productivity Level: All time low

Boy/Girl: April-ish... yes we will take a peek. Hoping for a boy, expecting a girl
Names: Saving that fight until April
Maternity Clothes: sooner rather than later
# of Prego Friends: 522 and counting... seriously, a ton. I'm trying to write down due dates, but it is getting out of control.
Time Between Macy and Kate: 20 months
Time Between Kate and new baby: 2 years, 10 days
Closing of the Shepherd Baby Factory: Undetermined at this time.
Okay I don't know what I missing, feel free to suggest additions....
** on a side note, you may have noticed that I put the Feedjit or whatever it is called on here. I have loved seeing where people are coming from, but I am actually a little freaked out by all the places that have shown up. There are so many places that I don't think we know people at, so my request is this... even if we don't technically "know" you, if you visit would you leave a quick comment saying who you are, where you are and how you got here? thanks, just consider it a step towards a mother's peace of mind.
** if I can ever figure out how to get the pictures off the new camera my first post will be of Macy's haircut. It is super-cute and has a funny story. Are you waiting anxiously?

ReplyDeleteIt was my New Year's resolution to keep it up!
Congratulations! If it's any consolation, your kids will all be farther apart than ours! :) Hang in there through the icky morning sicky. A comment about your feedjit--one time it said I came to your site from a town I'd never heard of.
ReplyDeleteHey! I'm a friend of Julia P. Somehow that's how I came across your blog! I have a 2 1/2 yr. old, so I love reading about the kids! Congrats on the pregnancy! You can click on my name and view my blog too!
ReplyDeleteTake care!
Kristi

ReplyDeleteThe Dirks here! Congratulations on number 3...that is exciting news. We love your blog.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations, officially! Sorry for my previous shock. So much for waiting until Kate is out of diapers, although your girls walk and talk so fast maybe Kate will already be potty-trained. Let's plan a trip to Emporia soon.
ReplyDeleteI visit here every once in a while. But surely you don't worry when you see GCK, we're all nice here. :)
ReplyDeleteI too am a friend of Julia P.'s. Just clicked on her link to this to see what her friends were blogging. Congratulations on the baby! Cincinnati is my hometown that I am visiting, but I live in Bham.
ReplyDeleteTara, I stumbled upon your blog from a friend's link. I was at KState when you were and involved in Ichthus. I was roommates with Suzanne Wilson and I was Stephanie Smith then, now Macek. We live in Texas now with our 16 month old boy and #2 due in early October.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations, Shepherds! It is so exciting that you are having a new baby. :-) I saw your blog on Jeff and Julia's and thought I would say hi. Great news!
