Update

Just wanted to let everyone know that there is no baby yet. I don't have any expectations on her coming in the next 60 hours or so, so Wednesday morning we will check in to the hospital and we anticipate having her in our arms by the afternoon. Kate was a fairly quick delivery (check in at 7, break water at 10 - kate was born at 1:18) and I am thinking this will be very similar - if not even quicker.

We will be posting on here as quick as we can of course, but it will probably be sat or sun. We will be sending out texts so if you want one and you aren't someone we normally text, let us know and we will put you in our phone.

This morning as I was getting ready I was thinking about what a huge change this will be - duh, I know, but please do be praying that God would prepare all of our hearts for the change. Matt and I are a little worried about Kate as she has been clingy lately and just tends to need more attention and affection than Macy. Both the girls are excited - Kate will randomly just say, "Out! Out!" and I will ask "What do you want out?" and she will run and point/kiss/push on my belly. Tonight I asked her if she could say "Lucy" to which she simply responded "No." same response when questioned about saying Macy and her own name. Macy keeps asking to come to the hospital and watch Lucy come out. I have told her that she has preschool that morning and she will get to come after Kate's nap, but she informed me that she was willing to skip preschool. I informed her that coming to the hospital was not an option. I actually think she would be fascinated and probably not freaked out at all by the whole deal, but that is not something I am ready to deal with.

So please be praying for us and know that we will get an update on here as quick as we can!

  2. I thought 2 to 3 kids was a big change, but it's kind of like 1 to 2 in that it soon becomes 'normal' that life is just one kid crazier. You guys will do great. Sounds like Macy will be big help. :) When we were going to the hospital with #3, Big sis was sad and wondered why I couldn't just deliver in her room--she has a doctor kit! :) Can't wait to hear about the arrival, will be praying for you guys.
