I know I haven't been great at updating... hopefully someone is still checking in on me! We just got back from the YL All Staff Conference in Orlando last week. It was a blast for so many reasons. YL takes such good care of us and had lots of surprises in store... one of which was Jeff Foxworthy. He was part of a skit and did a show for us. Then the next morning he and his wife shared - she met the Lord through YL in high school and they are WyldLife Leaders in GA. That was fun. We also had concerts by Jars of Clay and Nicole C Mullins. And the last night Jack Hannah (think Letterman + animals) came and did a show with lots of fun animals including a python who tried to take advantage of a poor audience member. There were also some good speakers, great testimonies and tons of time with friends. We truely love our YL family. We had a blast with the Kansas Contengency - what a gift to work with friends that you love to spend time with.

Speaking of those friends, here we are at Universal Studios. Don't worry, Andy survived. I will try to get caught up on my mom duties by posting Christmas pics soon. Also if anyone has any good info or opinions, we are in the market... we managed to kill our camera soon after this picture was taken so Matt may be getting a new digital camera for his birthday!
Tara-What is your price range for a camera? I'm saving up for a really good Cannon Digital. I want to be able to take pictures for the illustrations for my books. We also have a less expensive digital we really like. Glad ASC was fun!
ReplyDeletelooks like fun...I miss YL
ReplyDeleteLooks like you had fun. I saw Nicole C. Mullens at a Women of Faith conference, and she was good.
ReplyDeleteMy friends bought me a Cannon PowerShot A530 a year ago. I think they paid around $200 for it. The nicer, smaller Canons are around $350. I've been happy with mine. It has several settings, and the delay isn't too long.
I have a Stylus 830 from Olympus. I absolutely love it. It is small, takes pictures & video with sound, has a regargable battery (which Travis doesn't like - he is a practical AA battery lover), and comes in a variety of colors.
